About

Giuliano Orfeo Lanza immigrated to Australia and settled in Griffith in 1965. On 1st November 1973 he started Yoogali Engineering with two other partners in a small shed on Bilbul Rd Yoogali. In 1976 the business moved to Collier Street and in June 1980 they moved to the current premises in Whybrow Street. In the 90s Giuliano bought out his two partners and become sole director.

Over the years he employed scores of people and trained dozens of apprentices in Griffith. He made an invaluable contribution to farming. In the 70s and 80s, when farming was becoming industrialised he invented machinery to help farmers. Many of his inventions are still used today. In the 90’s he started “Header & Ag Parts Australia”. The business produces replacement wearing parts for headers and service farmers Australia wide.

In 2005 the business changed hands and is now owned by his sons, Marco and Chris Lanza. The family owned business continues to thrive and grow in honour of their father’s legacy.
